Overview:[
Project Control, a national project management firm located in San Antonio, Texas is seeking to hire a project manager to serve as an Ownerâs Representative in the Houston, Texas office. This position includes the management and coordination of the design and construction process for a variety of project types including but not limited to, commercial, education, municipal, healthcare, non-profit, and sports/entertainment.
]Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL:
- Serves as an Owner’s Representative/Project Manager responsible for solicitation, negotiations and managing the entire project team
- Responsible to manage the architect, civil engineer, and ALL project consultants
- Responsible for solicitation, negotiations, and management of general contractor(s)
- Manage all non-construction related aspects of the construction project
- Responsible for documenting and conducting meetings, to include taking meeting minutes and managing project budget
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree preferably in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar field
- Industry experience is a plus
Must pass a drug test prior to employment and will be subject to post-accident, random, and reasonable cause testing during employment.
