We are seeking a Project Manager (Local San Francisco and Bay Area Residents Only) with estimating skills to manage Commercial Medical Construction projects in the $100,000 to $5,000,000 range.

Responsibilities:

  • Principles and practices of project coordination and management including design, contract documents and construction administration.
  • Require to read and become fully knowledgeable of all project plans and specifications. As well as meet and work effectively with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Interact with subcontractors, clients, office staff, and field personnel regarding project bids and evaluation activities, pay requests, scopes of work, and other project concerns.
  • Supervise employees, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure both quality control and project compliance.
  • Require highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, plan, schedule, and execute projects in multiple project environment with little or no supervision.
  • Formulate and maintain the construction schedule throughout the project.
  • Produce accurate material takeoffs.
  • Produce and submit the following documents accurately: RFI’s, RFI Log, Daily reports, Communication Log and Safety Meeting Forms.
  • Review shop drawing submittals from subcontractors.
  • Resolve problems as they arise from the plans and specifications, unknown existing conditions, conflicts, with Architects, Engineers, Designers, Subcontractors and/or Vendors.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the completion of all punch lists.
  • Ensure that all construction work performed is of the highest quality.
  • Portray a professional image, while displaying a high level of integrity and professionalism when representing the company to all project related parties including owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and municipal agencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of all phases of construction.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
