Greenbriar Nursing Center is seeking a Activity Director who is highly energetic, highly motivated self starter to become a part of our team.
Must be creative, motivational and professional.
Must be able to plan and execute activities and functions for our residents
Develop and implement specific programs based on the needs of the residents
Provide therapeutic activities to help with different physical, mental or psychosocial needs
Perform assessments and keep up with documentation on residents in a timely manor
Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the activity department
Must be able to hire, educate and direct staff.
Need to be creative, have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication and social skills.
Must be a team player, ability to work well with other departments and become involved with the overall care of our residents.
Activity Director Certification Preferred
Long term care experience preferred
