This position is responsible for leading the day to day operations of Autism Services and for creating and enforcing programmatic policies of the division.
Duties:
- Along with Executive Team, set the direction of the agency and fulfill strategic plan objectives as guided by CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead Autism Services Division and take action to ensure agency meets all standards set by funding agencies, regulatory agencies, Parent Advisory Committees, Board of Directors, CEO, and EVP/CPO.
- Partner with Quality Assurance team to establish and implement quality systems and indicators to guide program performance and maintain a dashboard in the areas of budget, access, effectiveness, satisfaction, efficiency, and any other areas deemed to be key.
- Oversee accreditation requirements for these programs.
- Serve as an Ambassador of Easterseals Midwest in the Autism community throughout the state and within the Easterseals network. Establish and maintain partnerships with other organizations, institutions of higher learning, and funders. Create and respond to opportunities for collaboration.
- With Executive Management team evaluate and design opportunities for growth and expansion of autism and children services throughout the state and territory that are evidence-based and fundable.
- Partner with Human Resources, Quality, and Programs to identify training needs, develop content for or connect with resources for autism specific content and updating training as needed based on best practices in the field.
- Partner with Development team to identify ongoing funding needs and develop grants as needed to support programs. Assist with communicating about mission moments and helping develop materials to tell our story in a compelling way.
- Develop and implement succession planning for program management positions.
- Oversee offices and programs across the state; frequent traveling to these locations.
- Participates in meetings and other committees as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Human Services preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of managing programs for people with developmental disabilities with budgets of at least 3 million dollars and 100 employees.
