The Role
The Technical Project Manager oversees all the software applications within Charlie’s Produce, including but not limited to upgrading and daily maintenance of current applications and installations of any new systems that may be acquired to improve business operations.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Work on issues/tickets reported by business teams
- Debugging, troubleshooting and finding the root causes
- Administer, support and test systems
- Work with Business teams on requirements, documentation, user acceptance testing
- Work with Software vendors for execution, documentation, creating test scripts and working with business users for user testing prior to production implementation.
- Support application integrations, multitasking and change management
- Be in constant communication with upper management regarding system glitches and changes
- Responding to requests and providing effective customer service using clear communication skills
- Experience in business negotiations, building partnerships and project management
- Experience in team building and a problem solver
- Must possess planning and project implementation skills
- Open to ideas and collaborate with team members

Qualifications
Ideal Candidates
- Manage multiple projects of various size and scope complexity
- Lead and manage successfule delivery of ERP Projects
- Customer focus and must be knowledgeable of the subject matter at hand to play a role of a technical advisor for the business teams.
- Experience in defining the steps to perform a change, managing expectations, tracking status, and communicating to all constituents. Conceptual knowledge of IT infrastructure and supporting application across the company.
- Focus on configuring, supporting and maintaining the technology based upon business needs.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff, both written and verbally.
- Candidate will be required to maintain a strong working relationship with key stakeholders at all levels within the organization to understand their business modules and must be able to work with the systems analysts to understand the necessary requirements to deliver and promote technical solutions as the business evolves.
- Knowledgeable about technical concepts, principle and apply project management methodolgies to support the business expectations.
- Skillful at listening, prioritizing and follow ups while meeting customer expectations.
- Ability to work as an effective team member and self-motivated individual contributor
- Proven ability to deliver high quality work on time and with minimal supervision
- MS-SQL scripting and services such as SSIS, SSRS and SSAS will be helpful
Desired Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- PMP preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with applications, implementation, customer facing, vendor management and project management
- Conceptual knowledge of applications and IT infrastructure
- Familiar with the concepts, principles and practices of software applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Knowledgeable and understanding of scripting and programming languages
- One or more certifications to support the desired job description is preferred
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
- Knowledge of design, build and supports data base, application integration and meeting customer expectations
- Experience in bridging the gap between IT and business operations
Supplemental Information
