The Assistant Project Manager supports the day-to-day project management operations on projects and provides support for the project manager and estimators who are ultimately responsible for managing and coordinating all the necessary resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports Project Manager with weekly and monthly project reports relating to schedules, material deposits, show drawings, latest production number and material lead times.
Organizes meetings and record meeting minutes.
- Provide timely and effective communication with staff, vendors and general contractors.
Supports and provides information to all field supervisors and project managers as needed.
Process change order requests (CORs) and bulletins as needed. Send shop drawings and submittals as needed.
Partner with accounting to process monthly invoicing and payments and lien releases when needed.
Assist with preparation of business presentations including content, printed materials, and PowerPoint/media presentations.
Prepare and provide monthly reporting. Update internal databases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma.
Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Administrative Assistant required. Preferably in the construction industry.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required. Working knowledge of an ERP system preferred.
Detail oriented and good organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal skills.
