Shop Manager

CAM Services – Denver Based

CAM Services is hiring for a Shop Manager in our new state of the art facility. Position oversees 8+ people and reports directly to company owner. Single point of contact and decisions made locally. CAM is a family owned company that has been in business since 1999. We have 14 active segments including but not limited to street sweeping, snow removal, building maintenance, power wash, temporary fencing and material handling. Our fleet is comprised of over 200 pieces of equipment consisting of Chevy, GMC, Ford, Freightliner, Volvo and International. We are a drug free company including marijuana. Pre-employment and random drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents on our custom built, in house work order system (computer based).
• Perform mechanical duties as needed with mechanics.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary
• Oversee yard organization and maintenance
• Oversee on call rotation and assist when necessary
• Oversee snow removal repairs and be on call during winter for snow storms.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED with graduation from an accredited technical school in diesel engine repair.
• Minimum Experience Required: Three years in heavy equipment, engine, or electric power generation system repair.
• Administrative / Clerical Experience – Basic Level
• Customer Service Experience – Basic Level
• Technical or Mechanical – Intermediate Level

COMPENSATION

Base Salary $95,000 + depending on experience. Performance and budget based bonuses year around. Snow Bonuses during the winter. Medical, Dental, Life insurance, matching 401K, company phone and uniforms. Potential for company truck as part of salary.
