Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant to the CEO/Presidentâs full-time primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Provides administrative support in a variety of functions to the CEO that are focused on increasing the efficiency of the executive.
- Reviews, prioritizes, directs and delegates a wide variety of complex and confidential requests that are presented to the executive for consideration.
- Summarizes, prioritizes, and researches information into a concise and usable format for the executive to review.
- Responds to or routes priority or confidential inquiries from external or internal sources with correspondence or other messaging on behalf of the executive.
- Creates or directs creation of reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials for the executive.
- Coordinates high level projects, travel arrangements, and meetings.
- May plan and schedule work and direct other staff to deliver support.
- Has a broad knowledge and understanding of the company’s operations and business objectives.
- Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
- Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Associateâs degree required; Bachelorâs degree in related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
