SIG is seeking an experienced ERP project manager with expertise leading implementations for Ellucian Banner® suite and other peripheral products for colleges and universities. Required Qualifications of the Banner® Project Manager:
- Five to seven years of experience with managing initiatives for Banner® and related projects
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading clients through complete implementations of the Banner® software suite
- Experience managing the development and implementation of software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases of these products
- Exceptional written, oral communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience effectively communicating and reporting at the executive level
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project to plan and track large, complex projects
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects for more than one client simultaneously
- Proven experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to action
Responsibilities of the Banner® Project Manager:
- Provide overall leadership for projects
- Track and report on project budget
- Establish a project plan that is suitable to the size and scope of each assigned project
- Schedule and manage SIG resources assigned to projects
- Work with client to ensure appropriate client resources are assigned to project; manage all implementation teams
- Provide advisory services to support change management for the organization
- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to project sponsors and other executives as appropriate
- Escalate project issues and identify potential setbacks in a timely manner
- Work with client to develop a risk management plan
