The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for planning and executing True Rx’s quality assurance strategy. This strategy includes documenting and verifying the standards of each department within True Rx. The Director will collaborate with the other leadership and staff within True Rx to test the quality of each department and develop an action plan with that department to correct any deficiencies and improve efficiencies.


Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop testing for quality standards within each department at True Rx
  • Develop, measure, and report on standardized metrics for each department
  • Inspect and report quality issues with prescription plans
  • Collaborate with other departments to correct deficiencies and improve efficiencies
  • Assure the accuracy of individual prescription plans by checking processes and final outcomes
  • Report all prescription plan malfunctions to appropriate manager to ensure immediate action
  • Review current standards and policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Participate in the strategic planning of the organization
  • Provide quarterly quality reporting by department for the executive board

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years or more related experience

Experience/Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable of interfacing with True Rx clients and owners to provide solutions to problems
  • Excellent Leadership skills
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced Excel skill level, required
  • Need to be flexible and work as a team player
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and have good organizational skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to communicate and work under stress effectively while maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Need to be self-motivated and work with little supervision
  • Need to be adaptable and have different responsibility given periodically
  • Travel occasionally as work requires

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. Expect frequent interruptions in routines.


Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands, fingers and a writing pen. The employee is required to stand and/or to walk for short periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 lbs. The employee will be required to drive in both day and night hours. Flying will be required for this position.
