Director of Construction Technology

• Develop and maintain roadmaps as the business process owner for takeoff, estimating, scheduling and construction management software

• Guide Sprint Planning in an Agile environment

• Drive the launch and implementation of new/updated software products

• Conduct research and analysis to determine new products entering the market and whether or not they fit with the Company’s vision

• Be the intermediary between the sales, operations, and information technology departments

• Be a resource for field operations by offering solutions and best practices recommendations

• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives

• Provide support to field operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies, procedures, and safety rules

• Passion for applying technology solutions to estimating, project management and construction processes. Strong leader with the ability to overcome roadblocks and obstacles.
• Proven ability to bring diverse groups of people together and lead the groups toward technology solutions that are effective and cost efficient.
• A collaborative leader who can bring together the needs of the “user community” with “information technology resources” to deploy cutting edge technology solutions to business processes.
• Ability to quickly learn process requirements and identify technology solutions. Effective communicator with all stakeholders.
• Track record of negotiating with vendors (i.e. software providers, technology consults and other resources) and establishing project deliverables.
• Has the vision for how to implement technology solutions that will benefit the company for the future.
• Ability to assess the cost/benefit of implementing technology solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree with master’s degree (preferred).
• Background in implementing technology solutions to complex business solutions across a large company (preferred).
• 10+ years in business applying solutions to complex business problems.
