Leading the growth for our agri-tourism and food division at Colonial, we are looking for a true entrepreneurial spirited individual who has a passion for agri-tourism, a love of nutrient dense, farm grown food and can’t wait to connect the community to them. Having the freedom and autonomy to help grow our business through farm and food centered events, business development, and food and farming relationships, you will bring all the best of agriculture centered experiences to people around the region.

Having the freedom and the autonomy to help grow our business, you will promote and manage our agri-tourism efforts that include training & education through workshops, special events & activities such as hosting farmer’s markets, live music, and wine tastings. The successful candidate will have the drive and tenacity to promote and drive business to our many different events and activities, while also managing the planning and execution of the events.

KEY Responsibilities:

1. Cultivate Relationships – Through building rapport, develop new and maintain current relationships to grow our fresh food division, including the Market at Colonial Gardens brand

2. Innovation – identify trends and customer needs and look for new revenue streams to increase sales through events, products, services and collaborative partnerships that encourage healthy eating, wellness and farm direct products

3. Marketing Strategy – Influence strategies with the leadership team that achieve strategic goals

4. Leadership – Lead, motivate and be an inspirational positive influence on others, that supports a culture of accountability and our core values


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food, wellness and/or the gardening/farming community
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing
  • Successful track record in sales and/or business development of at least 3 years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with various sales techniques
  • Experience with coordinating or leading marketing strategies
  • Knowledge with data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
