Job Description:
The Associate Digital Director manages and handles the preparation, presentation, execution and optimization of digital media campaigns across multiple channels. In this role, you will direct the development, implementation and communication of comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies and campaigns to drive traffic, conversion and ROI for all digital acquisition channels including; paid and organic search, affiliate, display/banner advertising (re-marketing, geotargeting, programmatic, addressable media, direct-buys), content marketing, email marketing, paid and organic social media and video marketing. Platforms interacted with daily include Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Facebook, Instagram, Amazon and other programmatic partners.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as internal digital marketing thought leader
- Train and mentor team members
- Work with senior agency management to refine processes, manage workload and ensure our digital offerings lead the industry
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify issues and opportunities and to develop effective cross-channel solutions to deliver measurable results
- Work effectively with traditional media and accounts teams on seamless integration of campaigns
- Develop, write and present media plans/presentations
- Build campaigns, perform daily management and ongoing optimizations, ensuring campaigns align with strategy
- Ensure team members effectively negotiate media costs, positioning, and added value packages on behalf of clients
- Manage campaign expenses, staying within budget, optimizing towards monthly spend, and reconciling discrepancies
- Test, collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights to maximize client return for paid media investment
- Track and analyze campaign performance and corresponding site analytics
- Prepare written reports with insights on campaign performance in an articulate, analytical manner with recommended strategic and tactical changes
- Make campaign improvement recommendations via ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Write and optimize copy for ads and landing pages
Requirements
- 5+ years digital media experience and 3+ years paid search experience
- Google Ads certified
- Proven experience managing digital media campaigns across multiple platforms
- Thorough understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Self-motivated with the ability to convert big picture ideas into actionable tasks
- Knowledgeable/current with the latest digital trends and best practices
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Naturally curious, with desire to learn, grow and explore
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, external partners and staff
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
- Adept at problem solving
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation/communication skills
- College degree
