The Town of Wilton is seeking a candidate that will assist in planning, developing, coordinating and implementing recreation programs suitable for the interests and needs of the community. This is an administrative position with management and leadership skills required. Experience in daily operations and assistance in the preparation of the budget for programming are preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in recreation or related field; OR

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years’ experience in the conduct of recreation activities.

The Town of Wilton offers an extensive benefit package including NYS Retirement. This position will be provisional pending the results of a Civil Service exam.
