EnSight is currently looking for a Vice President of Sales to join our growing team! Come join us as we offer our customers more than 100 years of combined experience in the food processing industry. We are passionate about working closely with our customers, and engineering the most creative solutions to meet their particular food industry equipment needs.

The Vice President of Sales is an integral part of our leadership team. Primary responsibilities will include leading and directing our sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology and improving processes.

The successful candidate will be curious and creative, always striving to come up with new ideas to help drive us forward. Collaboration is key, so being able to positively communicate thoughts/ideas to the rest of the team is an asset.


The successful candidate for this position will be able to:
Implement strategies for achieving the company’s annual sales goals

    • Build in-roads and rapport with top ten food production companies.
    • Create a culture of success and goal achievement within the sales department.
    • Define optimal sales force structure.
    • Building and training a top performing sales team to become known as an employer of choice.
    • Measure the effectiveness of each sales person by a determined metric.
    • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets and quotas.
    • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction to better enable Ensight to become their Trusted Partner.
    • Determine necessary infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
    • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
    • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team.
    • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to establish successful strategies and branding efforts to grow Ensight’s organic sales
    • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
    • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships


Interested? Here’s what we would like to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or other related fields.
  • Understanding of Salesforce sales platform.
  • At least 5 year of previous experience in a leading a consultative sales team.
  • 1-3 years of experience selling Capital Equipment into the Food industry, preferred.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Ability to be adaptable, and positively work through frequent changes.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
