NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team in San Diego, California (US-CA), United States (US).
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with cross functional teams, product owners, SMEs, enterprise architects, software engineers, manage and prioritize the product backlog, participate in Release Planning, Sprint Planning,
- Backlog Refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Retrospective.
- Proactively identify impediments and dependencies and work with cross functional teams to resolve
- Ensure all documentation, tracking and reporting metrics including user stories, project progress,
- resource utilization, change requests, issues resolution, risk mitigation plans, test scripts, test results, and status update are completed per the delivery timelines.
- Lead and facilitate Integration, Solution, and UAT testing.
- Create, monitor, and share team performance metrics, including preparing related progress reports.
- Manage project plan and tracks project progress including dependencies, constraints, assumptions and risks
- Escalate risks, resource gaps and delays as needed to ensure project stays on track
- Lead daily Scrum and weekly Scrum of Scrum meetings to compile project status updates, updating project plan and removing obstacles and roadblocks for project team members
- Encourage velocity, quality, and efficiency while adhering to coding, quality assurance, and project execution best practices.
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on Technical Project Management experience from initiation through planning, executing, controlling and closing of Enterprise projects
- 5+ years of experience with requirements gathering, technical workshops facilitation, WBS creation, project planning, work prioritization, gap analysis, risk mitigation, project execution, and on time delivery.
- 5+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum implementation experience.
- 5+ years of business analysis and documentation of business requirements – functional and non-functional.
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including leading UAT, Solution and Integration testing
- 5+ years of experience with hyper support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and production support experience
- 5+ years of customer facing experience
Nice to have skills and experience:
- Agile Scrum Certified (CSPM)
- 3+ years of software engineering and application integration experience
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or related STEM-discipline
