SUMMARY:
The Sr. Vice President of HR manages Human Resources (HR) operations and provides development and leadership to HR staff. The Sr. Vice President of HR plans and supports HR projects for all departments, evaluates and recommends staffing strategies to support productive and profitable business operations. The Sr. Vice President of HR oversees management of the recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll as well as develops and supports employee initiatives.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop short term and long-term HR opportunities; plan and manage progress.
- Prepare, document, and implement procedures for audit purposes.
- Create an employee performance plan.
- Manage, train, mentor, and develop direct reports to enhance both individual and department performance; ensure staff maintains continual compliance.
- Analyze business and recommend/direct implementing strategic business plans in accordance with the organizational short/long term plan.
- Plan and support HR projects for all departments.
- Evaluate and recommend policies and procedures according to federal and state laws and regulations.
- Direct day-to day operations including recruiting, onboarding, payroll and employee relations.
- Direct the management of network administration, telecommunication administration, email and voicemail administration, desktop support, and help desk administration.
- Maintain, support, and customize HRIS system.
- Design and maintain employee surveys as necessary.
- Develop short and long-term Human Resources goals for the organization.
- Ensure appropriate compliance measures are maintained within the department.
- Analyze and communicate trends; prepare reports for executive management as needed.
- Draft, implement, and revise all HR procedures, processes, and controls; continually work to improve all processes.
- Function as an active member of the company?s senior leadership team; support global business objectives.
- Ensure and maintain compliance with the company?s quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures, and processes.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelorâs degree in related field or equivalent years of experience; advanced degree or equivalent preferred.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years previous HR experience (including programming experience in database, accounting, manufacturing, simulation, modeling, and numeric analysis); previous experience within a regulated manufacturing, medical, or pharmaceutical environment strongly preferred.
- Previous management experience, including oversight of multiple areas and direct reports.
- Expert working knowledge of HR concepts, theory, and generally accepted human resources principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of related regulatory requirements preferred.
- Extensive experience with large HRIS system, and various support software packages.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
