Reporting to the Vice President of Business Process Transformation, the Senior Managing Director—myQ Platform Lead will manage a team of product owners, business analysts, and scrum teams who partner with service units and business leaders across the enterprise to develop, pilot and deploy innovative capability enhancements to the myQ platform.
This role leads our cross-enterprise workflow platform, myQ, tasked with rethinking how we efficiently service our clients and advisors at scale. This includes how we drive automation, create elegant “off-ramps” for exception servicing, enable workforce flexibility through guided workflows, and innovate how we best match people to work
With over 10K users and 10M cases per year, this role must build momentum for the platform vision with Senior Leaders across the enterprise, while executing flawlessly through agile software development practices.
He/she will play a central role in Business Process Transformation and is responsible for:
- Leading the myQ platform and associated scrum teams, creating and executing against a platform roadmap in line with Schwab strategic objectives, and engaging deeply with stakeholders to evolve the platform solution over time.
- Building and leading a team of product owners and business analysts enabling them to execute on a roadmap of platform capability enhancements while maintaining platform hygiene and stability
- Provide oversight and mentorship to team members, empowering Product Owners to chart a path to business value aligned to the broader platform vision
- Be a driving force for transformative change, pushing product owners, business analysts and partners to envision the ideal future, and driving the changes required to get there
- Foster a culture of fact-based decision-making, transparency, agility and value creation
- Work closely with Technology Owner to ensure team is constructed to effectively delivery against both near- and long-term platform goals
- Ensure compliance with technology standards and architecture strategy
- Contribute to the intentional architecture and emergent design

A minimum of 10 years experience in increasingly responsible transformation leadership roles.
Experience in large, business critical platform management initiatives focused on agile, change management and automation, preferably within the financial services industry or consulting firm.
Strategic transformation leadership.
A track record of being respected as a thought partner by enterprise colleagues, including leveraging strategic and analytical capabilities to make sound, timely decisions based on business input including evaluating risk versus expense versus the client experience including the ability to manage a team of senior resources at the Sr. Manager and Director level

Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths. Education and Professional Qualifications
An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
