Senior Manager – Director of IT
GMP Cars is looking for an experienced IT Leader to oversee the IT operations of GMP Cars. In this hands-on role you’ll be responsible for all aspects of GMP Cars’ IT needs. You will “own” IT and work with GMP leadership team to ascertain the companies technical requirements to develop, implement, and operate solutions that drive GMP Cars’ business goals and objectives
As a successful IT Leader, you’ll need excellent technical aptitude and project management skills. All to provide smooth, secure, reliable, and up to date technical operations.
What you will own
- Lead all IT operations, including staff, contractors, partners, and infrastructure.
- Ensuring the security, maintenance, and operations of current projects and technology systems.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives as needed.
- Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
- Propose strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software.
- Prepare financial budgets and performance reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors
- Create processes and standards for IT and IT operations
What you’ll need:
- Degree in computer science or related field required
- Demonstrated ability in network, desktop, and server management
- Proof of continued education, such as certifications, is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT
- 3+ years in IT management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, problem-solving and analytical skills
