You will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of McLagan’s Performance Consulting Group within Aon Hewitt’s Talent, Rewards and Performance team. erformance Consulting Group:

Our Performance Consulting Group is able to solve a broad range of client problems through generating innovative solutions leveraging proprietary big data pools and extensive financial markets expertise across a variety of functional areas. Our clients include C-level executives in areas including covering Front Office, Research, Compensation/HR, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Finance. Our client base includes just about every financial services institution on the planet and our team is spread between New York/Stamford, London, and Hong Kong in order to serve them effectively.

Clients come to us with questions on how to run their business effectively. We provide a combination of data, analytics and advisory as fixed price solutions in order to help them answer these questions.

Our consultants typically are not stationed at client sites and are measured based upon results and value to the business and the team, not upon personal utilization.

Revenue GPS is a quarterly performance survey, covering the institutional equity business and is conducted for securities firms, covering the largest institutional investors worldwide. With Revenue GPS, contributing firms can benchmark revenues relative to scale, spend and footprint.

Your impact as a Senior Manager

As part of a highly productive team of industry experts in our team-based work environment, the Senior Manager will contribute to our clients’ business decisions made by their senior leaders, including executive management and boards of directors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Researching existing and emerging trends in client business
  • Analyzing data related to surveys and client engagements
  • Completing complex analyses; writing reports
  • Fielding client questions and deliver solutions
  • Mentor and provide guidance to more junior staff


You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

  • Relationship Management – should be able to interact with / present to clients, answer on-the-spot questions
  • Commercial – the Senior Manager will have a book of business (set of clients) that he / she will be expected to maintain and grow
  • Industry knowledge – need to have some understanding of Banking/Capital Markets and more specifically, Equities
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Survey benchmarking skills
  • Ability to derive meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong mathematics and statistics
  • Ability to be consultative having strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-Starter / Quick learner, independent thinker – should be able to come up with their own ideas, build upon what we already do and take things to the next level
  • Ability to work independently and on a team while handling multiple projects
  • Creative and proactive problem-solving skills

  • Technical Skills – should have superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build presentations, analyze data and extrapolate results from large data sets
  • Team – they need to be able to work well in a team setting

  • Project Management – not necessarily important but nice to have

Experience: 5
plus years of consulting / financial services industry experience


Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field of study, with proven academic excellence.
