Global Thermostat is a new company that has the technology to address the defining challenge of our generation – climate change. It’s patented technology and process removes CO2 directly from the air in a carbon-negative way. This CO2 is profitably sold and can be stored or used for a wide range of uses from industrial processes, synthetic fuels, to the CO2 we use in drinks; the entire process can reverse climate change.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, polished and upbeat. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organizing an ever-changing calendar and complex schedule including business and personal matters
  • Procuring office and household equipment, supplies, and services as needed
  • Office and administrative tasks and responsibilities as position requires
  • Assisting with event and party planning for business and personal, dinners, social gatherings, philanthropy, etc.
  • Assisting with managing calendars for household help including nannys and au pairs
  • Personal shopping, executing special requests, errands and related duties as needed
  • Fielding heavy phone call volume and maintain/update contact information
  • Booking flights and making travel arrangements; organizing detailed itineraries
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Acting as primary gatekeeper and liaison

This is a full-time position.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree from accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience supporting C-level executives
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • Prioritizing executive tasks and multi-task effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (additional language skills are a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple iOS; must be tech savvy
  • Professional mindset with the utmost discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Valid United States work authorization

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
