This role reports directly to the VP & GM of IOTG’s Industrial Solutions Division. The Industrial Platform Management Senior Director will be responsible for the industrial solution product line planning, delivery of the products from reference designs to necessary solutions, this will include driving all elements for market readiness and the ramp in the go to market phase. This leader and organization will need to collaborate with product and technical teams within ISD, IOTG, and other business units across Intel in addition to SMG, Business Operations, Corporate Marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment towards achieving business objectives and delivering leadership products and maximizing our customer’s experience. This leader and organization will be responsible for defining the focus market sub segments, customer priorities, and ecosystem engagement as well as lining up the appropriate resources to support.
This person will be Responsible for:
� Economic and strategic success for industrial product line strategies and commitments in the business group’s roadmap to achieve business unit LRP targets.
� Coordinates, aggregates, and prioritizes platform requirements with various corporate business units marketing teams to establish a complete platform Plan-Of-Record (POR) and leads it through planning, business justification, execution, and launch using the PLC process.
� Makes priority feature or landing zone tradeoffs with architecture and engineering to ensure BUs product competitiveness.
� Prioritizes and oversees development of marketing material and is required to develop and present product training material to sales force and key customers.
� Creation and maintenance of product briefs, design win, and sales guides and platform communications to/from business units and sales force.
� Division marketing plan with corporate marketing organization to prioritize and deliver on collateral and plans for public relations, analyst relations and overall industry influence.
� Customer and ecosystem engagement priorities for the division strategic and technical alignment needs to deliver on the business objectives, including development of Early Access Plan, coordination of External Samples and Platform Pilots or POCs for and with initial Customers, and being a key participant in Platform Launch Activities.
� Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
Qualifications
This position involves working with a range of Industrial Value Chain players – Solution providers such as Industrial OEMs, ODMs, ISVs, System Integrators, Solution users such as Manufacturers, Utilities, Logistics Companies. The preferred candidate will have the below qualifications:
� Experience working with or in companies within this value chain.
� Strong influencing, business acumen, leadership, strategic, management and customer skills with demonstrated hands-on management experience in product planning and marketing, and leading successful large scale go-to-market solutions and strategies.
� Must have direct people management experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing large global businesses and teams, experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
� Strong understanding of IA platform architecture, components and technologies, including chipsets, CPUs, and associated technologies including IT related assets particularly in the application to industrial related applications.
� Ability to quickly grasp the implications of evolving technology trends and anticipate future trends in areas of key technology and proven ability to drive scale and adoption of Intel products working with all the key groups such marketing, sales, channel team is a critical requirement of this position.
� Ability to coach teams and provide direction while creating the necessary oversight and operational requirements to ensure deliverables are met.
� Technical degree such as Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science with Business degree such as MBA is preferred
� International and domestic travel will be required.
