What you’ll do

As our wider digital transformation space requires big data-based analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) play a key role within Mars, we’ve recently initiated the services of new API platforms based on the MuleSoft Anypoint cloud.

Your role in this endeavor will be to bring new business engagements into our team. You will actively work with various stakeholders to understand their integration requirements for upcoming programs as well as helping to communicate the value of the reusable solutions and platforms offered by the team. This role will also require the performance of business architecture functions covering the digital data analytics use case definition of tasks.

In order to be successful, you will need to engage, collaborate & lead the digital data and analytics technology agenda across all levels of the organization, including C-level executives and Technology Directors. You will also work with several Digital Transformation programs across broader peer groups to generate and manage digital data analytics demand.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Engaging business stakeholders to understand their strategic initiatives
• Working with key program directors to generate new business pipelines
• Working with architects to align customers to Tech strategy and roadmap
• Translating high level business requirements into integration relevant requirements
• Performing target state, interim state, and current state modelling, gap analysis
• Mapping overall demand onto the overarching Business Architecture

What you’ll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred working within Mars or a similar CPG, within multiple roles across different departments
• Good understanding of APIs and integration in general
• Experience leading Business Change in the areas of Customer/Consumer, Data, IoT, API, Integration and High-Performance Computing; the ability to evaluate technology and process alternatives
• Proven business facing experience at senior stakeholder level, with a proven track record of ‘selling’ solutions to internal customers
• An in-depth understanding of business processes across departments
• Experience working with high level, ambiguous requirements and defining and developing IT strategies
• Experience in making decisions, i.e., ability to evaluate impacts and trade-offs
• Excellent written and verbal skills as well as high interpersonal skills
• Strong consultative skills, problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills
• Bachelor’s Degree within an IT discipline
