Responsibilities:
The Director IT Business Management is responsible for establishing and leading the strategic vision and direction of the financial and cost management function for the Enterprise Holdings Information Technology organization. This leader is accountable for developing a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results to IT and business executive leadership. This position reports to the CIO and partners closely with all senior IT leadership to establish clear financial plans for IT and maintain a cost structure in line with operating performance and forecasted capital, labor and non-labor targets.
The Director IT Business Management will lead a team to deliver the vision of driving value through IT financial cost modeling and management by establishing and maintaining a strong performance culture, continuous improvement, and value-added services.
This role reports to the CIO and is based in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
- Govern and manage IT financial planning and forecasting.
- Monitor and prepare executive level analysis of financial results on a regular basis including assessment of expected performance against established goals and actual outcomes.
- Integration with the Purchasing department representing IT vendor spend as appropriate within the supply chain process. In addition, responsibility for financial modeling and metrics of IT non-HR spend.
- Oversight of IT costing strategies to ensure that internal customers understand total cost of ownership on IT project consumption, components of Return on Investment of IT- related projects and intercompany allocation strategy of these costs when / if appropriate.
- Develop financial modeling/analysis.
- Identify opportunity costs.
- Serves as a thought partner to IT leadership to influence optimized cost management outcomes and solutions for IT services.
- Analyze the financial impact of emerging technologies (i.e. cloud, AI, robotics)
- Champions the strategic direction of the IT organization and articulates a clear, concise strategic financial vision and direction; helps others understand the vision, values, and their importance.
- Drives IT cost management discipline via opportunity cost identification, continuous improvement, and methods to optimize spend and ROI.
- Champions improving the maturity of governance, portfolio management and workforce management to drive efficiencies and manage costs appropriately.

Qualifications:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Minimum 10+ years’ proven experience in senior finance or accounting leadership role in large, complex, global corporate environment
- Significant and extensive people leadership experience managing integrated and high performing teams
- Must exhibit a leadership style that exhibits strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and results orientation
- Demonstrates executive-level written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Proven experience partnering with an executive team
- Proven ability to manage in a complex operating environment, including multiple vendors and agile teams

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience OR combination of education and experience; MBA or advanced degree Finance preferred
- Experience leading IT Cost Management or Technology Business Management (TBM) teams
- Experience with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles in IT
- Understanding of IT industry, particularly in cloud and network services, pricing and economics, procurement, and operations
- Expertise in financial and cost management systems expertise (i.e.: Apptio, Journyx, Peoplesoft Financial)
