Overview
The Capital Release Unit is made up of two business units: the Global Prime Finance Transition Unit (GPFTU) which comprises the former Global Prime Finance and Electronic Equities operations, and the Capital Release Group manages the disposal of all other Capital Release Unit assets.
The GPFTU comprises the former Global Prime Finance and Electronic Equities operations. In September 2019, Deutsche Bank signed a binding master agreement with BNP Paribas to provide continuity to the Bank’s global prime finance and electronic equities operations, and to transfer staff, technology and clients to BNP Paribas over time.

Your Role
What You’ll Do:
- Leading development of new business functions and non-functional platform improvements
- Identifying and improving stability and performance bottlenecks
- Leading and contributing to code reviews
- Interacting with the business and developers in other regions
- Assisting with turning requirements into functional deliveries
- Working with Quality Assurance and Business Analysts on functional and non-functional requirements
How You’ll Lead:
- Lead the definition of the Target State Architecture for a specific business unit or infrastructure layer
- Ensure adherence to rules and defined roadmap, provides horizontal oversight, architectural and technical governance, is responsible for longevity, scalability and resiliency of technical solutions delivered to the customers
- Provide thought leadership to technologists within the scope
Skills You’ll Need:
- Excellent C++ knowledge, preferably on a Linux/Unix platform
- High performance/low latency development experience
- A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use
- Experience of modern patterns for high quality software, including continual build, unit testing, code coverage and memory checking
Skills That Will Help You Excel:
- Strong understanding of the principals of computer engineering
- A background in Algorithmic trading is advantageous
