Health BI, the technology division of Equality Health, delivers a software platform which supports payers and providers in streamlining and centralizing the operationalization of preventative and transitional care, driving dramatic results for value-based performance and clinical outcomes. Additionally, the platform allows focus and workflow management to optimize quality, risk management and cost savings performance on a national scale and across complex populations.

The Vice President, Sales is primarily responsible for delivering technical product expertise and healthcare industry knowledge to drive business development in complex, solution-sales opportunities. This individual will lead the development and sale of technology solutions, both strategic and tactical, in a high-growth, business-to-business healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual sales plan in support of development, strategy and objectives
  • Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Evangelize new product features and competitive differentiation; recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Qualify leads and opportunities; provide technical product knowledge to potential clients during sales demonstrations and presentations
  • Ensure excellent client experience throughout the sales cycle, from needs assessment through implementation and follow-up
  • Achieve and exceed established sales and revenue goals in partnership with Leadership team
  • Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences; stay abreast of current and innovative healthcare and technology trends
  • Provide regular feedback from prospects and clients to the Business Development team
  • Identify product enhancement opportunities and collaborate with Technical Development teams to determine direction
  • Serve as a consultant and product expert to recommend best practices

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or a related field of study; or, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in a directly related position providing technical, client-facing support
  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role, and the development of a sales team
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of population health and care coordination
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of value-based care, payer programs, and healthcare industry requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based technologies
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model and enabling technologies
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and grow a technology business
  • Local and regional travel up to 75% with occasional overnight stays

  • Successful record of managing multiple projects with demonstrated ability to work independently in rapidly-changing environments
