The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Vice President of Sales. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for Growth Revenue in the small box vertical. They will participate and execute against strategic initiatives with direct and indirect sales teams associated with small box format locations for both smart safe and recycler opportunities. They will provide support to the Senior Vice President of Business Development. The role is dedicated to providing sales support with a primary focus on sales analysis, being a super user for Salesforce.com, administering the commission process, and SPIFs with pricing, organizing, and facilitating onboarding refresher and foundation training for the Business Development team. This position will review data to ensure integrity and accuracy, and will develop plans to improve reporting throughout the business by routinely communicating and collaborating with the sales leadership team. The Vice President, Sales will also assist the sales leaders by providing decision support analysis based upon historical trending, as well as forecasting against projected sales goals. The position will conduct pipeline reviews with Business Development, Strategic Accounts and Strategic sales to ensure alignment between the sales ledger (Salesforce) and our financial forecasting tools. The Manager will act as the primary interface between Finance and Sales for this purpose.

Main Responsibilities

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

Successfully meet and/or exceed sales growth targets annually

Review sales data to ensure integrity, accuracy, and alignment with the financial forecast (for G4S’ largest individual business unit)

Develop plans to improve reporting throughout the business by routinely communicating and collaborating with the sales leadership team

Support sales leaders by providing decision support analysis based upon historical trending as well as forecasting against projected sales goals – publish stack ranking and performance to goal monthly

Actively work with 3rd party channel partners to grow pipeline, educate on products and seek new relationships

Interpret the quality of pipeline information and developing action plans to ensure clean and accurate information is maintained and aligns with our financial forecasting

Report Writing in Salesforce to help sales leaders better drive cross-selling, analysis of their sales performance, and the G4S Experience

Compile information and prepare reports in the required format for monthly business reviews

Develop and improve onboarding; foundation and refresher training for the sales team to help support continuous improvement of the sales org; ensure MBDs are properly onboarded alongside the RVPs of BD (Business Development)

Administrative responsibilities include managing trade show participation, conducting sales meetings, approving commission statements

The Ideal Candidate

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

Must possess experience in one or more of the following:
Cash automation solution selling

Retail front end experience

Must possess professional experience utilizing Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application

Must have experience conducting market research and analysis

Work or educational history must demonstrate each of the following:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong database skills (ability to build, edit and report)

Strong interpersonal skills

Skills Required

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

Effective oral and written communication skills

Active listening skills

Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Sitting, speaking, listening, observing; computer and telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
