HCA Healthcare ITG Associate Project Managers are innovative individuals who use creativity and relationship skills to deliver business value. HCA Healthcare ITG Associate Project Managers work with various levels of Project Managers and are responsible for the coordination of project work. During certain instances, the HCA ITG Associate Project Manager may run small-scale projects with oversight from a Senior Project Manager. They also serve as a backup for the Project Manager, sometimes leading meetings and producing status updates. On large projects, the Associate Project Manager may be given a sub-component of the project to manage on his/her own. Within our PMO, the Associate Project Manager may also be involved in helping maintain the integrity of the Portfolio that we support by performing analytics, running governance meetings and educating our resource managers to best practices.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

May be tasked with running small to mid-level projects depending on team needs with Sr. PM Oversight.
Works to enhance our division customer support through support improvement initiatives directed by executive leadership.
Works with portfolio manager to assist in executive reporting needs and communication to our main business stakeholders.
May assist in the creation of standardized project management documentation used within our business line.
May assist in preparing and moving project requests through our standard project governance process.
Participates in project post-closure reviews and creates lessons learned document in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Completes project closure documentation and updates relevant tools and repositories.
Supports project managers with preparation for and conducting of meetings and other project-related communications.
Works within the framework of HCA Healthcare ITG project management methodology and HCA Healthcare governance requirements.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
