Position Overview
KGPCo’s Vice President AT&T Customer Unit will manage existing and new business between KGPCo and the AT&T account, spanning diverse programs across KGPCo’s Product Division, Cloud Division, and Services Division. The position will engage directly with mid-level management within AT&T, leadership within key OEM/ODM partners, and across the KGPCo organization on a daily basis to support KGPCo’s established and evolving support of the AT&T account. The position’s primary responsibilities will be to maintain and grow relationships across current areas of AT&T business, identify and pursue new opportunities within the account, work with OEMs/ODMs on joint AT&T opportunities and support, and work closely with multiple KGPCo Business Units and Operating Units to successfully support AT&T programs. While the position will support Product, Cloud, and Services offerings, a focus will be placed on Cloud-related business.
KGPCo’s Vice President AT&T Customer Unit will work alongside KGPCo’s Senior Vice President AT&T Customer Unit and will work closely with KGPCo’s Senior Leadership Team on a daily basis, including KGPCo’s President. The right individual will be self-driven, will hit the ground running on Day 1, and will pull the organization with them in pursuit of supporting and growing everything AT&T, with an emphasis on Cloud. This is a high-level, strategic role with significant exposure within AT&T and internally across KGPCo leadership, and has the potential to make a major impact to the overall KGPCo organization.
Overall Responsibilities
The overall responsibilities for the Vice President AT&T Customer Unit position include:
- Collaborate with multiple KGPCo Business Units to develop, lead, and execute AT&T Customer Unit strategies across KGPCo’s Business Units – Package Business Unit capabilities and drive forward proactively.
- Senior account management within the Director level through VP level across KGPCo’s AT&T account – ability to manage an extensive breadth of programs across the account.
- Lead new relationship growth and drive expanded business solutions within AT&T beyond KGPCo’s current programs.
- Continue to strengthen KGPCo’s position as a leading “Integrator” for AT&T across KGPCo’s Product, Cloud, and Services Divisions.
- Build and lead internal teams without direct reporting relationships to this position (build internal rapport and momentum to achieve company results).
- Maintain and build strong relationships with upper management of various OEMs/ODMs in support of AT&T initiatives.
- Take initiative to constantly self-educate and stay abreast of rapidly evolving industry technologies and changes, with the goal of being a subject matter expert in these areas for both KGPCo and AT&T (specifically Cloud-related technologies) – Serve as a true “Trusted Advisor” for AT&T.
- Highly organized, professional, and with the ability to build and foster strong relationships at high levels.

- Start Day 1 with established relationships with mid/senior-level AT&T leadership and solid knowledge of AT&T processes and programs, as well as established and relevant OEM/ODM relationships pertaining to AT&T (Cloud-related is a plus).

- Enters the role with at least a mid-level understanding of Cloud and White Box technology and has the capacity and drive to further this knowledge, as well as learn new technologies and the various parts of the business.
- Has demonstrated a consultative customer management approach at a high level and has been viewed as a “trusted advisor” to customers in the past (preferably to AT&T).
- Travel will be frequent for success with this position to align with KGPCo’s “ Go and See ” account management approach.
- This is a senior, leadership-level position working directly with AT&T, OEMs/ODMs, and KGPCo Senior-Level leadership on a daily basis – Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years industry experience.
Strong Preference
- Dallas-focused role (physical preference in this area is preferred).
- As position will have a Cloud focus, ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies, but not required.
