Position Overview:

HomeServe North America is part of a global organization that serves millions of customers in North America and Europe.

A key element of delivering our vision is growing our HVAC business in North America through a combination of organic and M&A growth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of HVAC North America, the SVP HVAC Marketing will play an integral role in building out HomeServe’s HVAC/on-demand business, including determining the strategy, growing organically existing HVAC operations, developing partner on demand programs and coordinating/integrating businesses to be acquired. Additionally, the SVP will be called upon to share expertise and guidance for HVAC and on-demand with the global HomeServe team. Some international travel will be likely.


Responsibilities:
  • Determine the overall HVAC marketing and product strategy
  • Work with the wider HomeServe Marketing and Product teams to execute the HVAC strategy
  • Manage and/or coordinate HVAC marketing resources across HomeServe and acquired companies
  • Determine and manage the branding and marketing for all HS owned HVAC companies and operations
  • Design and implement the customer experience for HVAC
  • Planning and executing multi-channel marketing programs to achieve agreed goals and objectives
  • Own and drive product development for HVAC
  • Determine and deliver accurate, timely and insightful reporting for existing and new HVAC companies to be acquired
  • Collaborate with our operations team to manage the conversion of those leads to sales, including overseeing the contact center (and related consultants). This includes optimizing our lead-nurturing processes through all offline and online channels
  • Determine the policies and procedures used for customer service, including escalations
  • Oversee the review and online/social media presence for all HVAC entities
  • Manage the marketing budget and make sure it aligns with operational capacity planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Five years’ experience in marketing on-demand home services (preferably residential HVAC)
  • Proven track record of success in general management and marketing
  • Superior analytical and metrics-driven focus
  • Proven experience creating, executing, and optimizing effective lead acquisition campaigns
  • Demonstrated success with multiple forms of demand generation, including paid search, direct mail, inbound marketing techniques, email marketing, SEO, and social media
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage many detailed projects simultaneously
  • Passion for marketing and growing businesses
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to navigate and influence across teams and diverse stakeholders, leveraging qualitative and quantitative measures to support opinions
  • “Roll-up-your-sleeves” entrepreneurial spirit
  • Travel up to 30%
