Job Overview
815 Dual Recovery Residential, A Program of HealthRIGHT 360 to provide substance use disorder services to underserved persons in the community. 815 provides a trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary.
The Program Director is responsible for overseeing and implementing all program services, clinical activities and staffing to ensure program compliance with contracts and licensing regulations for our 82 bed Residential and 21 bed Detoxification Program. The Program Director sets the clinical tone and coordinates with departments within and outside of the agency to ensure that client needs are being met in support of health and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management Responsibilities: Directs clinical treatment and coordination of various activities and departments within facility as well as coordination of external stakeholders. Ensures treatment is in accordance with contracts/license expectations. Has ultimate responsibility for retention and completion of all clients. Ensures that all services function in accordance with expectations set by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
- Facility Management Responsibilities: Responsible for oversight of the programâs needs, including but not limited to safety and security, compliance and accountability. Must be available afterhours and on weekends to respond to facility emergencies, outstanding crisis or events.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees management of staff, including direct supervision and mentoring of subordinate supervisory staff. Activities include but are not limited to, hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating. Ensures staff is familiar with program policies, procedures, and practices.
- Administration and Compliance: Ensures that each client receives all services stated in applicable contract. Ensures compliance with codes and regulations for community care programs. Responsible for client capacity within the program. Ensures client rights mandated by governmental codes and agency norms. Responsible for quality assurance for charts and treatment plans. Ensures proper handling and transfer of documents and records. Responsible for oversight of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for the program, including but not limited to running reports such as discrepancy, retention, productivity, utilization and ensuring all discrepancies are corrected in timely manner.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience Required:
- BA in Psychology/Social Work or related field, 3 years management experience and 3 years experience working in a residential setting
OR
- Substance Abuse Certification recognized by ADP and High School diploma or equivalent, 5 years management experience and 5 years experience working in a residential setting
Desired:
- Masterâs Degree or License in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
- Knowledge of community resources for non-profit substance abuse treatment facilities
- Experience with government contracts and compliance
Background Clearance Required:
- Must not be on active parole or probation
Knowledge Required:
- Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
- Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
- Integrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
