About the Team
You will be part of the team responsible for getting the right product to the right store at the right time in the right quantities to support product and brand strategies. The Distribution team works cross-functionally in three seasons at a time; building pre-season allocation strategies to support product strategies, in-season through allocation and replenishment of product to stores driving gross margin and customer experience, and post-season by hind-sighting what worked and what did not; building strategies for future seasons. Our job is to ensure that every WS associate (store and DC) and customer has the best experience possible from a store inventory perspective while driving profitability and brand strategies.
About the Role (Summary)
In the Distribution Manager role, you will be responsible for the professional development and training of multiple Distribution Planners as well as oversight of their departments. You will also be responsible for ensuring your team is focused on supporting brand strategies while making decisions that will delight our customers and drive margin dollars to the bottom line. The Distribution Manager will also own projects for the whole Distribution Team as we continue to improve systems, process, and optimization as an organization.

We’re excited about you because… (Essential Functions and Experience)

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • You have advanced computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel, Word and Access, and expertise in Planning and/or Distribution systems
  • You have knowledge of theory and principles of Inventory Management
  • You have led teams
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to transport materials or equipment or lifting, moving, carrying objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis
