Charles Deweese Construction, is accepting applications for Heavy/Civil Earthwork – Construction Project Manager Position. Work typically within one-hour drive radius from Franklin to Nashville.

As the Project Manager, you’ll direct and manage our projects from beginning to end. You’ll develop full-scale project plans and track project milestones and deliverables. You will take an active role in our senior leadership team to grow our company.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Set project expectations and support the field supervision in coordinating crews, subcontractors, material purchases, and equipment needs.
- Meet with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations with key stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conduct project evaluations upon completion and create a recommendations report for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- A strong track record with 5+ years of project management experience with heavy civil projects from $100k to $25 million.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
- Advanced skills at project management, scheduling, and planning required.
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of HCSS, Bluebeam, and Viewpoint.
- Must be able to lead and inspire others, and communicate well with clients.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and creativity required.
- Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
