Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced leader to join our assisted living care team. In this role, you will help lead our resident assistants with maintaining our standards in our facility. You will help our residents maintain a sense of independence and vitality by aiding them in daily tasks that are challenging for them. You will always put the resident’s needs and safety first and work to provide a warm and caring environment. Group Home Manager report to the Facility Administrator and help residents with daily tasks ranging from hygiene and mobility to household.

  • Performs supervision to Residents & Staff.
  • Performs all assigned duties and follows up on staff in accordance with established policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations.
  • Walks properties at least twice per day (once at the start of shift and once at the end of shift) to assure health and safety of residence.
  • Observes residents and notes physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, etc. Communicate findings to administrator and staff.
  • Assisting the Administrator in ensuring daily activities are performed in a timely manner and collect ADL’s and logs for daily review.
  • Assisting the Administrator in ensuring staff prepares residents for rests, physician visits, therapy, activities, church, etc. Transports residents and assists with the above activities as needed. (When applicable)
  • Interview & hire new potential employees.
  • Start new clients and or employee files in accordance with established policies and procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all residents’ information. Observes residents’ rights.
  • Keeps medication carts (both homes) in compliance.
  • Monthly (unless directed to do otherwise) weighing of every residence and documented on log sheets.
  • Maintain client records (files) to include monthly, quarterly and annual summaries.
  • Coordinate training’s for staff to ensure their certifications are current.
  • Reports all accidents/incidents to the Assisted Living Administrator as soon as possible.
  • Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, calm environment, personal interest and positive emphasis. Maintains a cooperative attitude with peers and other departments.
