Job Summary
Currently seeking a Project Manager / Construction Professional experienced in the field of hazardous and toxic waste cleanup and competent with the associated technologies. Will serve in an on-site, supervisory position responsible for fulfilling all aspects of the contract, including completion of remedial construction, overall operation of the treatment systems and all other related SOW requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The PM/P is responsible for ensuring that the goals of the contract and the individual task orders are attained in a manner consistent with the Contractorâs approved SHASP, Contractor Quality Control Plan, and all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The PM/P will coordinate with the Certified Industrial Hygienist and the Site Health and Safety Officer to assure that all activities are performed in a safe manner and with other project staff as required to ensure that project task orders remain on schedule and within budget. Will also be the primary Contractor point of contact.

Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics. In lieu of a technical degree, a minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing similar environmental programs/projects may be substituted.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the environmental field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Superfund or RCRA experience, which may count towards the ten (10) years environmental experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of managerial experience in the environmental field, which may count towards the ten (10) years of environmental experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the construction or operation of remedial facilities, which may count towards the ten (10) years environmental experience.
- Experience in managing at least three (3) projects greater than $1,000,000.00 in contract value.
Bachelor of science degree.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Certifications
Required: 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher training.

Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
