Director of Nursing

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is a behavioral health organization providing an array of outpatient, inpatient, and residential services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental health and substance use diagnoses. The Director of Nursing provides clinical and administrative oversight of nursing and provider services.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with individuals with behavioral health diagnoses as well as have experience in providing administrative and supervision. Candidates will have the following traits: compassionate, collaborative/team player, client-centered, and determined to find ways of helping people in the agency. As a valued member of the treatment team, this position will participate in various clinical and administrative work-groups aimed at positively impacting the quality of care provided to the individuals we serve and our staff. As Heritage offers 24 hour services, this position will rotate on call with other nursing leadership in the agency.

The successful candidate is required to have a State of Illinois Registered Nurse license, current and in good standing and without prior disciplinary action. Valid State of Illinois Driver’s license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of automobile insurance, are required.
