The Digital Marketing Account Director in Global Brand is responsible for establishing an enterprise digital marketing framework to drive the successful execution of digital-focused marketing programs aligned to enterprise strategic goals and revenue objectives of Fiserv. This individual should have proven ability to manage relationships at executive levels, lead strategies for marketing communications campaigns and demonstrate proficiency in developing effective digital marketing assets.

The Digital Marketing Account Director in Global Brand is responsible for effectively sourcing and aligning a variety of internal and external resources to deliver consistently outstanding, integrated, seamless digital marketing programs and deliverables that positively reflect the Fiserv brand. Strong project management skills, including the ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously and the ability to lead multiple supporting resources and project schedules and budgets are required. Additionally, this individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable of building effective relationships with internal leaders and stakeholders. This position reports to the VP, Marketing Technology and Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop an enterprise-level discipline by building an internal consulting practice, building the case and sourcing the practice with internal staff and agency support
  • Develop a framework for measuring success for the digital marketing program, including base metrics and a reporting cadence
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with internal business leaders to successfully implement against the content framework.
  • Work with all Global Brand teams and functions to maintain alignment with enterprise-level marketing strategies. Multiple channels to be coordinated such as content strategy, social media, public relations, and advertising.
  • Pursue understanding of business line marketing plans and go-to-market priorities
  • Identify opportunities to connect operational and campaign specific “dots” across multiple Global Brand disciplines – Public Relations, Internal Communications, Editorial, Creative, Digital, Events, Production and Thought Leadership
  • Monitor business line active marketing activities to maintain alignment and manage expectations
  • Socialize and discuss marketing program/campaign requirements with all stakeholders
  • Brief Global Brand digital resources and teams on business objectives to guide the successful development of campaign components that meet requirements
  • Review creative assets in digital channels to ensure requirements are met, including appropriate application of brand standards
  • Lead the global enterprise digital marketing strategy and execution, directing business line marketers on how best to align on delivery variables across geographic regions – time, budget and resources.
  • Appropriate implementation of brand standards and assets across channels
  • Lead efforts with agency and internal project and traffic Managers as sources for resource scheduling and managing projects
  • Serve as an escalation/reconciliation point for business partners across the enterprise to align digital marketing initiatives
  • Provide strategic marketing recommendations to business leaders, based on channel performance metrics


Desired Skills and Experience

Competencies:

  • Technology product strategy and management background and skills preferred
  • Global marketing management, extensive experience in regional differences and how to execute marketing campaigns outside the U.S.
  • Account-based marketing – successful experience in executing targeted campaigns
  • Business marketing and campaign strategy, from building business marketing plans to executing on various marketing communications and channel tactics (Detailed use of digital marketing tactics)
  • Demonstrable work performed around market positioning

  • Process and Tool Management—able to simplify complex processes and leverage tools to effectively organize people and activities

Required Education/Training:

  • Minimum—Bachelor’s degree in business management or marketing or more than 15 years related experience and/or training.
  • Related experience in Fortune 500 or larger company useful
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
