We are seeking a Project Manager for the Alternatives Asset Services Evolution Program. Our ideal candidate would be a self-motivated and detail oriented partner, with a willingness to take charge of a project to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The role will span across the Agile teams and the Workstreams to support the program execution.
Whilst it would be advantageous to have some knowledge of Alternatives Assets it is not essential. However the candidate needs to be flexible and be able to drive and contribute to overcoming challenges and finding workable solutions.
Requires strong planning, conceptual consulting and communication skills. In addition the candidate must have strong leadership, negotiation and conflict management skills.

As a project manager, you will be expected to:
  • Collate and Produce the program reporting materials for the weekly working group, RAIDD items and exec steer forums
  • Chair the weekly working group meetings and the monthly exec steers for the program
  • Establish and execute the program’s communication plan
  • Actively manage project risks, actions, issues, and dependencies ensuring that the owners of the items are addressing them in a timely manner.
  • Escalate in a timely manner to the appropriate parties to address decisions needed, remove road blocks and other obstacles or constraints.
  • Anticipate and overcome roadblocks or other constraints
  • Provide input into managing and controlling budgets and the capital expenditure process.
  • Focus on Program Delivery and Quality with a positive, committed and adaptable attitude
  • Work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with sometimes multi-layered/complex stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Including being comfortable writing and delivering stand-up presentations to internal/external audiences at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • The preferred applicants will also have previous experience in Agile methodologies or Change Management functions.
  • Competent user of: MS Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project/SharePoint etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant, proven work experience.
