Position Description:
The EverCheck Director of Product leads and serves as direct manager to our team of Product Owners and oversees their respective projects across the entire EverCheck portfolio. Reporting directly to the EverCheck CEO, this person is responsible for understanding strategic business goals and subsequently working with multiple teams to oversee and implement the project scope, schedule, and milestones and ultimately ensure the successful delivery of projects. This position will be located in our Boulder, CO office and work hours will typically be 9AM-6PM EST, with the option for some remote work after an initial 6-month period.

What you bring to the team:

A bachelor’s degree (required)
-
Exceptionally strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple teams on complex projects with discrete and sometimes competing resources.

2+ years of Project Management experience in software development required. PMP certification preferred.

Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

Stellar interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute to a strong leadership team.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Experience using project planning tools and preparing status reports.

Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet project demands.

Ability to think creatively and contribute to the overall vision of future EverCheck products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the EverCheck project roadmap, ensuring all EverCheck projects are implemented on time and in alignment with strategic goals.

Directly manage team of Product Owners and work alongside executive Leadership to ensure on-time delivery of projects and successful implementation of complex enterprise-wide projects.

Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in support of business plans.

Estimate, identify and manage resources required to achieve project goals.

Assess and anticipate risks which may impact delivery of projects and work with product teams to develop solutions and risk-mitigation techniques.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators and report the status of projects to Leadership on an ongoing basis.

Provide continuous guidance to team of Product Owners and serve as a creative resource, providing feedback and ideas on the design of new products and product features.

Make recommendations to business processes and management tools as needed to ensure optimal performance and on-time project delivery.

Work with Scrum Master/Kanban Sensei to review and approve project plans developed by the product teams, and confirm all critical elements of the project scope have been incorporated in the overall plan.

Act as the liaison between Leadership, Business, Marketing, and Development teams to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.

Serve as a liaison between the Product and Marketing teams, and assist with the development of marketing strategies that align with the overall business goals for each product.
