You are:

An experienced leader for the I.T. Operations team at Pitney Bowes. As a key leader within the I.T. organization you will be responsible for the I.T. services provided to all internal users and the processes used internally by IT to operate effectively. You are a highly visible Director of I.T. Operations who will interface closely with internal stakeholders, executive management and department heads. You are a successful leader with previous experience growing teams and developing an operations function; i.e. defining procedures, setting service standards, defining SLAs, etc. The role requires a self-starter with strong technical knowledge, but equally focused on Customer Service, Continuous Improvement, and optimizing the Global Support model.
This position will sit permanently in Shelton, CT.

You will:

  • Lead teams that provision, manage, and secure Pitney Bowes end user devices, including laptops, personal computers, and mobile devices.
  • Lead large teams for supporting collaboration technologies, e.g. email, Skype, Teams, SharePoint, and video conferencing.
  • Manage 24x7x365, outsourced/off-shore Global Service Desk and ensuring that users received timely and competent service.
  • Oversee ITIL service operations, including incident, problem, asset, knowledge, change, and configuration management.
  • Direct teams responsible for IT Service Management tools and reporting, including the analysis, implementation, and system administration of enterprise BMC suite of tools.
  • Enable continual service improvement through the effective use of metrics in support of key performance indicators and critical success factor used to manage service delivery.
  • Manage service levels and drive organizational initiatives with data and metric driven decision making.

Your background:

As a Director of I.T. Operations, you have:

  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes and implementation.
  • Broad knowledge of collaboration and end user device management technologies.
  • Ability to lead global teams consisting of internal employees and external service providers.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
