Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Vice President Operations, North America who is responsible for the general operation of the business within the assigned sales domain, region or country.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Implementation of strategy set in business and department plans
- Lead coordination and collaboration among all departments within the NA Operations organization (Operations, Finance, Support, HR, Legal, etc.) both within country and with the related HQ function.
- Support, coach, guide, inspire and motivate team members
- Implement organization plans and work processes
- Develop and measure appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the health of the business.
- Assist in the management and achievement of the North America team and individual objectives
- Stimulate growth of team members and professionalize the team
- Apply current HR policy, HR instruments and HR procedures
Sales:
- Collaborate with the COO & Vice President of Sales in supporting the sales goals for the region
- Help optimize the Customer Journey and sales process
- Focus on the Sales Operations functions and processes including Commissions, Renewals, Forecasting, Analytics and associated tools.
- Ensure that the commercial process is followed on all contractual agreements.
Operations:
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Fulfilment teams (including HQ and external vendors and suppliers) to ensure all Operational SLAs are met including those agreed to in Partner or Client contracts.
- Ensure that baseline processes are documented, implemented and monitored including Product Ordering, Software commissioning, Returned Merchandise (RMA), Software Renewals, etc.
- Support the expansion of the North America portfolio of products including the implementation of new manufacturing strategies, programs, and partners)
Product Expertise:
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Product teams and Chief Technology & Engineering on the release schedule for new Products
Qualifications/Experience:
- BA level
- Circa 15 – 20+ years’ experience with the sales in the B2B market
- Experience managing directly or indirectly a business / cross-functional team including sales, operations, finance, HR, marketing, legal, technical support, and customer success
Knowledge:
- Scaling a business in an operational role
- Managing Operations in a Manufacturing company/environment
- Cleantech, Sustainable energy market
