- Analyze the potential impact of proposed projects on the environment, the US economy, and the economic development of the host country, as well as the worker rights conditions at the project and country level.
- Establish guidelines for reporting the Developmental Impact of each of the Corporation’s projects, including the intelligence impact quotient (IQ).
- Establish guidelines and analyze projects in sensitive sectors i.e., those sectors where there is a high probability that a project may have a significant adverse impact on the U.S. economy and employment.
- Establish guidelines for projects that are likely to adversely affecting the host country’s environment and identify opportunities to mitigate those affects.
- Establish guidelines for other projects that may need special consideration given the Corporation’s general policies and priorities. These sectors may be sensitive due to host country developmental impact, or U.S. foreign policy considerations.
- Evaluate Worker Rights and Human Rights in host countries.
- Manage the collection and analysis of project related data and develop internal and external reporting mechanisms.
- Establish and implement monitoring and evaluation program that analyzes projects in operation and creates lessons learned for the organization.

As the Vice President for Development Policy, you will serve as a member of the President’s executive staff and a key consultant and adviser to the President and Chief Executive Officer (P&CEO). You will manage the Office of Development Policy (ODP) with the responsibility of establishing policies and procedures for carrying out the Corporation’s statutory review of the Environmental and Social Impacts, the U.S. Effects, and the Development Impact of the Corporation’s projects.
