Job Purpose:

Logistics Operational Efficiencies Project (MEGA):

  • Deliver savings for the region by implementation of logistics savings projects across the following areas of focus:
    • Pallet Density Optimization
    • Truck Fill Maximization
    • Product and Warehouse Flow Optimization
    • Improve Storage and Handling contract strategy

      The objective of the LOE project is to ensure that we can find best practice and breakthrough solutions to make our operations more efficient through the following topics.

      Supply Chain Project Manager:

  • Project Leadership and Delivery: Responsible for end to end management of identified projects. Including but not limited to scope, analytic, and on time delivery.
  • People Leadership: Ability to collaborate, engage and lead project teams across multiple functions, regions, segments and areas of responsibility. Example include: Logistics, Finance, Sourcing, R&D, Sales and Marketing.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/responsibilities concurrently.
  • Supply Chain and/or Continuous Improvement Experience: Capable of self-identifying and partnering with local and regional Supply Chain teams to identify and generate new opportunities.
  • Organized and Detail Oriented: Develop and manage a prioritized and time bound roadmap of activities against key delivery dates (Project Plan).
  • Ability to Influence/Comfort around Senior Leadership: This role will support a high visibility project that requires a personality that is not intimidated by senior leaders, speaking in front of groups of people, and is willing and able to challenge and drive conversation when necessary.
  • Flexibility/Agility: This role may be required to support other MEGA areas within Supply Chain, such as: Boosting Competitive Bidding, Network Efficiencies, Control Tower, and Inbound Efficiencies.
  • Highly Analytical and able to review large sets of information/data and able to create hypothesis and recommendations.
  • North America: This role with support the U.S., Canada and possibly LATAM/Mexican markets.

    Job Specifications/Qualifications:

    Education:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Demonstrated Supply Chain experience. Three to five (3 to 5 years) Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Physical Logistics experience and continuous improvement preferred, but other transferable Supply Chain experience will be considered.
  • Cross-category and cross-function experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Proven track record of project leadership and results delivery.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Role supports a Global project team and therefore may require working hours to vary.
  • Travel time is approximately 25%.
