CACI is currently searching for an Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) experienced candidate to join our team to lead technical teams to prototype / test and evaluate national capabilities for tactical integration fulfill urgent and emerging warfighter requirements. The role is ideal for a prospective candidate that is passionate about technical innovation across a variety of technical areas including Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). The Operations Manager will be a direct report to the Program Manager under the Tactical Solutions Division, part of CACI’s National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) Business Sector. The Project Manager role responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution on customer site in Colorado Springs, managing technical staff, actively participating in strategic direction, planning, controlling, and monitoring technical execution, identifying risks and opportunities, and implementation and management of appropriate systems development lifecycles. The Project Manager is responsible for achieving program technical and performance requirements.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Oversee successful execution of ongoing projects and lead transition and start-up of new projects.
- Work with subordinate Project Managers and/or Technical Leads to identify, monitor and mitigate risks, ensure projects meet technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
- Inform and advise the Government on technology innovations and issues that impact execution
- Support government activities to transition capabilities to system program offices (SPOs)
- Provides solution guidance/direction to technical staff
- Assess and evaluate new project requirements, identify schedule, resource, and cost for execution

- Ensure projects exceed technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives, maintain high customer satisfaction, and resolve impediments promptly
- Track completion of actions assigned to various project teams
- Lead planning and start-up for emergent projects—developing ROMs, build teams, and establishing roles and responsibilities
- Implement effective stakeholder communications—conducting meetings, prepare reports, and address issues and concerns
- Develop and maintain schedules
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
- 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a DoD environment; Air Force experience preferred
- Experience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles
- Track record for managing complex technical projects with aggressive schedules
- Experience leveraging SIGINT, GEOINT, IMINT and/or Cyber in support of military operations
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic work environment
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Working experience or familiarity with Air Force TENCAP mission
- Experience managing multiple and diverse technical projects
- Experience as a software development manager or systems engineering manager
- Experience with DoD systems engineering processes
- Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
- Certified Project Management Professional or equivalent
