The Senior Director of Business Operations will be responsible for the development, and deployment of work processes to support business service elements including procurement, accounting, budgeting, financial management, information technology (IT), property management, Human Resources, and other administrative services. This position will work cross-functionally with other members of the leadership team.
This position is located at the customer site in Richland, WA. This posting is conditional upon final contract award to Honeywell. If Honeywell fails to secure the contract, the posting and any potential offer are automatically rescinded.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides strategic directions and directs business functions to assure the financial strength and operating efficiency of the Tank Closure Partnership, LLC (TCP) contract; single-point accountability to the General Manager for business services elements including procurement, accounting, budgeting, financial management and budgeting, information technology (IT), property management, and other support services
- Provides leadership for all strategic and tactical support services for information technology and support of TCP
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on the financial performance of the TCP and ensuring the TCP meets contractual obligations, including baseline management and EVMS
- Serves as advocate for Small Business (SB) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) subcontracting opportunities and Mentor-ProtĂŠgĂŠ relationships to achieve desired socioeconomic goals
- Responsible for development, negotiation and execution of all procurement activities and subcontracts, including participation in the establishment and negotiation of Task Order bids and contracts
- Provides strategic guidance and direction in the development and implementation of Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures to support the Tank Closure Partnership, LLC (TCP) missions and fully align with federal, state and local labor laws
- Develops the human capital strategic plan including forecast of critical skill and qualification requirements plans and implements comprehensive training and development programs to ensure employees have essential skills prior to performance of work
You must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- 10 years of progressive experience supporting multiple functions (i.e., HR, IT, contracts, procurement, supply chain management, P&I, finance & accounting, HOS, etc.)
- Must be US Citizen due to customer/contractual requirements

- Demonstrated experience working with multiple collective bargaining units
- Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean Leader
- Advanced degree preferred
