APTS® is searching for a Regional Behavior Director.
Employee’s duties include, but are not limited to:
Direct supervision of:
- The compliance of APTS philosophy, standards, policies, procedures, and programs of study involved in meeting the educational programming needs for APTS students
- Supervises and coordinates all daily operations of Behavior Department Staff, including Behavior Analysts/Specialists and Data Analysts
- Responsible of recruiting, hiring, and retaining behavioral staff, ensuring that such staff has appropriate credentials.
- Responsible for staff training and ensuring compliance with annual requirements
- In the event of your absence, must inform supervisees of the department designee
Oversight of Program:
- Assists with developing, implementing, and monitoring the program in accordance to the VDOE, VAISEF, and other accrediting agencies
- Maintain a safe and secure school environment
- Maintain APTS equipment and supplies in manner that maintains a safe, healthy and sanitary environment for the students.
- Ensure that all incident reports are received, reviewed, and disseminated to the appropriate parties
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Human Services, or a field related to Behavior Analysis from an accredited college or university
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst required
- Licensed Behavior Analyst with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals required
- Two years of successful professional supervisory experience in behavioral analysis
