Aptive is seeking project manager with at least five years of experience to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). The position will develop and create content to support OSDBU’s training and education efforts that are directed toward veteran-owned small businesses. The full-time role will be based at the client location in Washington, DC. This is a contingent hire position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
- Five years of experience creating and delivering training and education. Two years of experience in project management and/or leading a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in area related to communication, training or education.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience with Adobe design software and training and education software.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Oversee and participate in the creation of training lessons and tools, including content and visual design.
- Deliver training to key audiences in clear and impactful way.
- Oversee and participate in set-up and execution of outreach events.

- Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
