ABOUT THE POSITION
Heartland Retail Construction is searching for a Project Manager to support our business as it continues to grow. The overall purpose of this position is to oversee and direct construction management. Our project managers are involved in all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to project close-out. The Project Manager communicates and negotiates directly with subcontractors and owners concerning project cost and scheduling. Prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. Work toward keeping us âone step aheadâ.
The right candidate must have the following qualities:
- 5+ years experience in commercial construction is required – retail construction experience is preferred, however, not required to be considered for this position.
- The ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment,
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
