Project Manager

World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Project Manager to support one of our operations teams located in Edwardsville, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and Control operations impact to project P&Ls to drive strong financial performance.
- Build high performing cross-functional teams on programs managed. Manage WWT cross functional issues. Ensure all functions within WWT are performing to project expectations.
- Overall responsibility for projects P&L to ensure strong financial performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and SLA’s are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in both value to the customer and financial/operational performance.
- Develop incremental business that extends the project and/or identifies new business opportunities with the customer.
- Manage schedule, scope, and milestone performance of the project.
- Manage the day-to-day projects as needed to grow the business.
- Manage major issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Interact with Program customers and vendors if needed.
- Conduct all business in a manner that is consistent with WWT Core Values.
- Possible light travel if there’s a business need.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- One to three years’ prior sales/business development/operations management experience.
- Experience working with (and leading) cross functional teams to achieve a common goal.
- Ability to create and track project metrics and manage change.
- Ability to manage contract modifications and control the impact to a project.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Strong MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
