First Reliance FCU in Athens, GA is seeking a President / CEO able to perform the following job
responsibilities:
- Direct all credit union operations, including planning and implementing programs, policies and
procedures
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the credit union; serve as back up for all positions.
- Oversee all credit union functions to include: accounting, ALM, compliance, facility
management, finance, human resources, investments, lending, marketing, operations, risk
management and security.
- Prepare and provide monthly financial statements along with required reports to the Board of
Directors at the monthly Board meetings.
- Oversee Delinquent Loans and handle all Bankruptcies / TDRs / Work-Out Loans.
- Conduct Staff Meetings on a regular basis; incorporate required staff training in with staff
meetings.
- Responsible for employee compensation/payroll and benefits.
- Oversee IT operations including database upgrades, vulnerability assessments, and equipment
needs.
- Balance all bank reconcilements.
- Ensure the credit union is in compliance with the federal laws and regulations, including OFAC,
FINCEN, and BSA. Oversee submission of CTRs and SARs. Revise policies for Board approval as
needed.
- Deal directly with outside auditors, including NCUA. Prepare quarterly call reports.
- Manage security and safety for the credit union.
